The name Fairy Tale Filigree was choosen because the definition of filigree is "delicate, intricate ornamentation; usually in gold or silver, fine, twisted wire"The purpose of this blog is to twist the delicate, intricate ornamentation of fairy tales and to read, study, explore, and understand them, their meanings, their purpose, their morals, and their roots.

How do you do it all? Must be something to being Cajun, huh?
I am starting a middle ages unit with the kids and also wanted to draw in the history of fairy tales -- I've got some great resources fromt he library for the fairy tale end and will check back here often to see what you've got to say!
